Privacy Policy

Rule Hub is a static site. Every page is built ahead of time and served as a plain file. There is no account, no login, no sign-up, and nothing to subscribe to.

We do not collect personal information

There is no form on this site that asks for your name, email address, postal address, phone number, vehicle details or policy details. We do not run a newsletter, we do not sell insurance, and we do not pass visitor details to anyone who does. If a page ever asks you for personal details, it is not one of ours.

Server logs

The site is served by a hosting provider, and hosting providers keep standard server logs. Those logs typically record the IP address of the request, the browser user agent, the page requested and the time of the request. This is ordinary web infrastructure, it happens for every site you visit, and we use it only to keep the site running and to see which pages are being read. We do not try to identify individual visitors from it.

Advertising

This site shows advertising served by Google AdSense. Ads are how the site pays for itself; they do not affect which figures we publish or how we describe any state's rules. The following applies:

• Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies and similar advertising identifiers to serve ads.
• Google's use of advertising cookies lets it and its partners serve ads to you based on your visits to this site and other sites on the internet.
• You can turn off personalised advertising inGoogle Ads Settings, and you can opt out of personalised advertising from other participating vendors ataboutads.info/choices.
• Data handled by an advertising vendor is handled under that vendor's own privacy policy, not this one. For Google, that is thepolicy covering how Google uses data from partner sites.

Where the law requires it — including for visitors in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom and Switzerland — you are asked for consent through Google's consent message before personalised ads are shown, and you can change that choice at any time.

Analytics

We do not run Google Analytics or any other third-party analytics script on this site. If that changes, this page changes with it.

Links to other sites

Almost every figure here links out to a state statute or agency page, and some pages link to other sites. Once you follow a link you are on someone else's site, under their privacy policy and their handling of cookies. We have no control over that.

Children

This site is a reference for licensed drivers and vehicle owners. It is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from them. Since the site has no forms and no accounts, there is nothing here for a child to submit.

Changes to this policy

If what the site does changes — advertising, analytics, anything that touches a visitor's data — this page is updated and the date at the top moves with it. The date above is the last time this policy was reviewed.
